We will be exhibiting our full range of candles

Scotland’s Trade Fair ~ Spring
Glenelg Candles – Stall N76,
Hall 4 & 5
SECC, GLASGOW – JANUARY 27th – 29th 2008

Each candle in our range is hand crafted from the best waxes, dyes and other materials, and each is therefore unique. All of our designs are original, and while much of their appeal derives from their aesthetic qualities, the prime consideration in the design and manufacture of each single one is that it will burn down perfectly and cleanly as a proper candle should.

Some of our candles have a practical purpose as well. Our Anti-Midge Candles are extremely sought after here in the Highlands during the summer months, and our latest range of Aromatherapy Candles allow you to benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the essential oils which they contain.

The lines which continue to be our biggest sellers however are our Highland Landscape Candles in the Summer, Autumn, and Sunset Colours. – ideal for gifts and momentoes of a holiday amongst the hills; as are our ever-popular Flower and Heather Candles.

For decorative use in the home we have the dramatic range of Chalcedony Marbled Candles – perfect for the dinner table or the mantle-piece, and for a jazzier and lighter mood we have the infinite variety of Lathe Turned Chunkies.

Aromatherapy Candles

The art of aromatherapy is a unique way of releasing the natural healing and recuperative plant essences which have long been esteemed for their therapeutic qualities.
Aromatherapy Bowls

Our range of “Aroma Floaters” offers you a selection of the most efficacious of these essential oils – Lavender, Rosemary, Ylan Ylan, Geranium, Lemon Grass, Clary Sage and Eucalyptus. Each Floater is colour coded against its essential oil and is designed to be lit when floating in a bowl of water. It will burn for sixty minutes. A full selection of 7 Aroma Floaters is packaged in each of our specially designed “Aroma Water Bowls”, and replacement Aroma Floaters are available to the Trade in baskets of 35.

We also offer two Trade Packs – The “Aroma Starter Pack” which comprises 7 complete Aroma Water Bowls with a basket of 35 assorted replacement Floaters, and a full “Aroma Retail Pack” which comprises 20 complete Aroma Bowls together with the full range of 7 baskets of Aroma Floaters.

Our Aroma Tulip Bowls are larger non-floating aromatherapy candles contained in tulip-shaped bowls of recycled glass (available in green or blue – please state if you have a preference).

Anti-Midge Candles

Our best selling line in the Highlands in the Summer months! For indoor use we make them in a standard square shape; for outdoors, in a terra-cotta pot, ideal for gardens and barbecues.

They contain one of the best repellents of all – Lemon Grass. And especially for Backpackers – lightweight “Anti-Midge Floaters” just float as many as you need in a bowl or billycan and light them.

They are packaged in pairs for ease of carrying (a plastic egg container is ideal!) and each burns for around sixty minutes.

How to Order

The peninsula of Glenelg is one of the most beautiful districts of the Western Highlands of Scotland and is well worth a visit at any time of the year. The mountain landscapes and secluded shorelines here are quite magnificent, and the area boasts remarkable antiquities such as the ancient and enigmatic Broch Towers.

A summer ferry, The Glenelg Ferry, links the peninsula to the Isle of Skye.
